Text Box: With the financial help of a Canadian friend, Murray Katz, Kungoni has recently launch a new project aiming at establishing self-sustaining programmes to develop skills in various areas in order to endow families with a particular focus on training and empowering women. The new Centre of Family Development Ku Mbewu is truly a new adventure and challenge.

Ku Mbewu Centre includes a large classroom for training, offices, a spacious reception hall, a coffee shop, a museum and various sitting areas to enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding.

The building hosts also a museum dedicated to the old time when the place was used as a carpentry shop. In honor of Brother Euthyme, locally known as Br Witimu, (Frans de Groot 1903-1985) who was the soul of this place for over 40 years, Witimu Museum shows some remaining of the machinery imported from Sweden and turbine.
