Text Box: From Germany through the Weltwaerts Programm (DED), three young girls came to Kungoni in August 2008 for one year assignment. They are now back to Germany and we wish them well in their forthcoming studies at the university.
Alisa Isabel Koch was the manager at Pa Mtondo pa Namalikhate Village welcoming visitors and supervising the hostel.
Andrea Karin Beck was the public relation officer. She was helping in various ways through her computer skills and Internet.
Katharina Schlumm was the agricultural adviser assisting women at Ku Mbewu Family Development Centre.
Sannah Schmidt came in December 2008 and worked in the museum in view of new publications.
Text Box: From Australia through the Australian Volunteers International (AVI), Maureen Ann Boyle came to Kungoni in August 2008.  She worked closely with women at the new Ku Mbewu Family Development Centre project and return home in February 2009.
Text Box: Director of Kungoni Centre, Fr Claude Boucher Chisale was born in Canada in 1941. He is a priest and a member of the Missionaries of Africa (MAfr), as well as 
an accomplished artist and anthropologist. He came to Malawi in 1967.
Text Box: Born in 1955, from Canada, Fr Serge St-Arneault Mbewe was the Co-Director of Kungoni Centre between 2003 up to June 2009 when he was appointed at Chezi Parish.
He is a priest and a member of the MAfr and worked in the DRC for over 10 years before coming to Malawi in 2001.	
Text Box: Malawian born in 1980, Robert Kalindiza is the museum guide of Chamare museum. He is also monitoring the Internet services.
Text Box: From Germany, Markus Gödke was volunteering for two months in summer 2008 as a mechanic and carpenter. He is planning to come back to Mua later on.
Text Box: Malawian born in 1957 from Chiradzulu District, Barnet Mkwaila is the accountant/administrator of Kungoni Centre.
Text Box: Malawian born in 1981 at Kazambe village near Mua, Philip Maxion Njobvu is the administrative clerk welcoming visitors and offering various services like purchasing books or carvings, booking special orders and keeping the link with over 100 carvers.
Text Box: Malawian born in 1964 from Blantyre, Boniface Thole was our museum guide up to March 2009. We wish him good luck in his new functions in Salima. May God bless you for all the dedication you have shown for Kungoni over the last four years. 
Text Box: Malawian born in 1957 from  Chiradzulu District, Willard Michala is the cultural program manager and librarian/archivist at the Research Centre.  
Text Box: 	 From Ireland, Fr Brendan O’Shea is the cultural adviser and Parish Priest of Mua. Born in 1971, Fr Brendan is a priest and a member of the MAfr who has recently obtained a master degree in Social Anthropology at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). He has been in Malawi since 1996.

Gary acted as heritage advisor and Sue looked after Namalikhate hostel. Both enjoyed their stay being surrounded by wild birds and their lovely cats.
